South Florida restaurateur with years of experience, Bagels & Company’s founder David Cohen, opens a Florida-inspired barbecue restaurant.
Restaurateurs David Cohen has opened the doors to Biscayne Backyard Barbecue (playfully referred to as ‘Triple B’), a fast-casual local gathering spot for those looking to experience Florida-style barbecue including traditional meats, seafood and vegetable offerings from the smoker and grill. Located at 11064 Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami, the restaurant isn’t just another BBQ spot in Miami. It features a hearty lunch and dinner menu serving a range of customers from meat lovers to seafood fanatics and vegetarians. The friendly neighborhood space has been turned into a tropical paradise, dressed in bright colors and palm fonds with abundant indoor and outdoor seating.
Triple B’s menu offerings include a mix of meats, seafood, seasonal vegetables, and salads inspired by southern United States and Caribbean flavors, remaining authentic to Florida-style barbecue. The menu also serves-up specialty dishes such as Sticky Miami Baby Backs Ribs. The restaurant features vegan options, weekly food specials, beer & wine, and ice cream and Fireman Derek's desserts for the kids and adults looking to indulge.
With Cohen’s guidance, Executive Chef Wilfrid (Willie) Charles, previously of Captain Jim’s Seafood Market & Restaurant (as seen on Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown), is the creative mind behind Triple B’s menu. Pit Masters Henry Pierre and Davonne “Dee” Rashad, formerly of Tom Jenkins BBQ bring their smoking and grilling talents to the table. Chef Willie’s popular dishes such as his famous shrimp & grits, smoked eggplant parmesan, and baked chicken wings are also featured.
Orders will be available for pick-up or delivery via UberEats and DoorDash. Large orders will be available for pick-up with 48-hour notice.
